Cancellations and Amendments
You can change your reservation
only once before your
outward journey - subject to availability The new travel date
must not be later than four weeks after the original travel
date. DB will charge you € 15 for the amendment. All
further amendments will be considered as a ccancellation and
new reservation.
For cancellations, DB AutoZug will charge the following
amounts, based on the date when the cancellation is made. If a
return joruney is cancelled the time is calculated based on
the outward jorney (another good reason to make two single
reservations instead of one return reservation)

CANCELLATION CHARGES MINIMUM
5 % if the cancellation is
made not later than 30 days prior to the departure
10 % if made 29-22 days
prior to the departure
25 % if made 21-15 days
prior to the departure
40 % if made 14-7 days prior
to the departure
50 % if made 6-4 days prior
to the departure
100 % for later
cancellations
If the jorney is cancelled due to actions
where DB AutoZug is responsible, the ticket price will be refunded.
