Belgium used to be one of the
major countries as far as ferry connections to Britan were
concerned. Ferries out of Oostende and Zeebrugge were
esecially preferred by Scandinavian travellers. Today, much
due to the Channel Tunnel, just a few are left, connecting
Belgium mainly with the northern parts of Britain. There has
never been a direct ferry link between Belgium and
Scandinavia
