Corsica is a French
Island with people more proud of being Corsicans rather than
French. As a holiday destination it is of growing interest
for Scandinavians and is today one of the destinations where
the number of travellers is growing most rapidly, in spite
of financial crisis and increasing cost of living. This applies both
to car holiday makers and those who fly to Nice or Marseille
to take one of the many ferries out to the Island.
Please note that there is a shortage of hotels on the
island and demand is quite higher than the supply. A good
advice is therefore to book both ferrycrossings and accommodation
well in advance!
