Check in and boarding It is extremely important that
you, as a passenger - and expecially if you are travelling
with a vehicle - have checked in and are ready for boarding
well in advance of the departure of the vessel.
The latest time for check in is advised in your trael
documents. Please note that the check in time is considerably
earlier in Mediterranean ports than what we are used to in
Northern Europe.
Please note that after 9/11 there are no flexibility for those
arriving too late. If you haven't checked in before the
stipulated time, your ticket will be void.
If you, at an early stage can see that it will be impossible
for you to reach the port in time - call the operator's port
office and ask for advice. Perhaps they can help you to change
your reservation to a later sailing. If you so not call, your
ticket will be invalid and cancelled without refund.
Therefore, it is better to be one hour too early than five
minutes too late.
